This positionwill manage teams within the LTSS (Long Term Services & Supports)dept. of the Texas Health Plan of Amerigroup. Texas. This position will focuson the STAR Kids program, as part of the Government Services Division (GBD)?
Manager has theability to work from home with the flexibility to come into the office asneeded. Training will be conducted in the office for the first 3- 4weeks.
Responsible for
managing and overseeing team responsible for coordination of a comprehensive
health care program in which members needs are identified, including physical
health, behavioral health, social services for a special product/programs such
as long term service and supports (LTSS), Intellectual and developmental
disabilities(IDD), HIV/Aids etc.
Primary duties
may include, but are not limited to:
-Manages resource
utilization to ensure appropriate delivery of care to members, adequate
coverage for all tasks and job responsibilities.
-Coordinates
service delivery to include member assessment of physical and psychological
factors.
-Participates in
cross-functional work groups created to maintain and develop program.
-Evaluates
current processes of Special Program's support functions; recommends changes
for increased efficiencies and improved outcomes.
-Develops and
conducts training programs for staff involved in the program.
-Extracts and
manipulates analytical data to present findings to relevant markets and
stakeholders.
-Hires, trains,
coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
+ a BA/BS; 5 years of experiencein a related field, including 1 year of leadership/management experience;or any combination of education and experience, which would provide anequivalent background.
+ Active, unrestricted RN,LSW/LMSW/LCSW, or LVN license in the state of TX preferred.
+ Ability to travel within theterritory of responsibility to coach, counsel, train, and support directreports.
Preferred
Qualifications:
+ Previous pediatric experience
+ Service delivery coordination,discharge planning or behavioral health experience
+ Previous managed careexperience
The associate in thisposition must be located in the Dallas Fort Worth area of Texas.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
