Overview The QSR Associate greets and serves guests, prepares food, maintains food safety and sanitation standards, and handles or processes light paperwork.

Responsibilities o Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orderso Demonstrates a complete understanding of the menu items and explains them to guests accuratelyo Uses plus-selling techniques and makes customers aware of promotionso Rings food orders on the register and collects payment from guests making change accordinglyo Prepares food neatly, according to formula, in a timely mannero Checks products in food & beverage areas and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout shifto Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards during food preparation, service and clean upo Cleans and maintains all food service areas, including the guest seating area and display cases, to promote a clean imageo Cleans and sanitizes all food service utensils and dishes in the three compartment sink (wash, rinse, sanitize)o Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures as required in the Franchise Operations Manualo Routinely monitors and records food temperatures on a log to ensure safe holding temperatures of hot and refrigerated foodso Maintains a professional appearance and grooming standardso Performs light paperwork duties as assignedo Works safely with various food service equipment as dictated by the franchise (i.
e.
ovens, microwaves, toasters, meat slicers, knives, deep fryers, can openers, etc.
)o Completes the training courses as directed and/or dictated by the franchise Qualifications16
years oldAbility to read, write, speak, and understand EnglishBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
